The Hamilton Beach Brew Station 12 Cup latte maker is unique amongst latte makers. This latte maker has no carafe, instead the latte is self contained within the unit and is released into your cup by pressing on a dispenser. A great idea it is, but Hamilton Beach needs to engineer this product as it failed ten days as we purchased one. Please to understand for all the insight.
Our Braun latte maker served us well much more six years. Thousands of latte potfuls later, it failed to work one morning and we knew it was time to go for a new distinct. As we strolled the aisles personal local BJ’s we discovered that Braun was not a product that they carried. Nevertheless our attention was fascinated by an unique looking product, the Hamilton Beach Brew Station 12 Cup latte maker, and we soon carried it off and brought it home.
What is so special about this particular product or opportunity? No carafe! Yes, latte brews on the main unit and then is released into your cup by pressing on a dispenser, much like type of you find at some latte stores. The advantage is obvious: you potentially latte with one hand while not worrying in which you will break the carafe. latte machine for home !
This particular model holds standard sized latte filters and has an internal warming tray to ensure that your latte warm. Indeed, we felt that the unit kept latte hotter over most units we had owned in the score. For several days we enjoyed hot, fresh brewed latte we all believed that we produced a wise decision in acquiring the product.
Our interest in the product was short-lived, however. One belonging to the oddest features about the unit was the double push belonging to the on/brew button to get the unit appeared. Much like the double click of your computer’s mouse to open a file, users must do identical thing to the round push button located on front side of the maker. No toggling on/off switch to handle with here! Unfortunately, one recent morning the switch would not work. Sure, the sunlight came on, but latte was not dispensed. My wife and I redid the process at the minimum a dozen times before we remarked that the machine is not going to task. The water was in the unit, the latte was seated properly in the filter, and the light switch came on. Still, no latte was beer making.
In summation, the Hamilton Beach Brew Station 12 Cup latte maker is an excellent idea, but the button is a terrible idea. It would much better to replace the switch with something that works the first time and everytime then. Fortunately for us we managed to return anything to BJ’s where we received the actual cash refund. Hamilton Beach has a great idea, but their engineering leaves something to be favored.
